  1. Martin ill have a look on the weather forcast then ask the missus:innocent:
  2. If it makes you sleep any better Martin, get the car in for a good checking over and a service. We can do the walbro when the weather gets a bit warmer too. 12v mod also.
  3. Should do!!! getting beaten by a FORD:eyebrows:
  4. yeah between 800 and 900 when warm seems right. Just over 1k when cool.
  5. Martin look at your other post about the brakes;)
  6. Man i am sure your getting paranoid about you car:sly: But mine used to idle about 800rpm.
  7. On my old auto if you floored it in third it will go nearly to the red line then change into fourth and go to the red line again. If you back off at the top of third it will change into fourth for you....
  8. Maybe but, the clamps should be the t-bolt clamps if it was the hybrid, also the mounting plates look a bit strange. The Hybrid`s only have 4 mounting places on them 2 on top and 2 on the bottom.
  9. Dont think its the hybrid. clamps are different, there jubillee clips not t-clamps.
  10. its like getting out of a fiesta and getting in a supra again!!!!
  11. Yeah it was me mate, when the road is dry i am off like a scud missile down there. Get it bpu`d you fool spesh if she`s saying get it done sheesh:rolleyes:
  12. I could weld it back on mate but you would have to get it up to yorkshire. I would do free of course.
  13. Maybe the 12v wire has sparked accross the rl unit its self?? Causing it to get scrambled?
  14. Yeah i can fab you up a bracket no probs, just send me the hole centres of the rl unit and ill knock you one up with a mounting hole @ the back which you can utilise and use to fix it somewhere behind the console. Stainless steel of course:tongue:
  15. Yeah i know mate should have had it read before but when the panic hits and you think she is never going to fire again. Hope its gone forever:)
  16. IAN C, What do you think my problem could be mate look at my thread in the technical please. Getting the car in the garage next week to have a good look @ it. Thinking it could be faulty map sensor.
  17. Martin i would defo get the unit secured down somewhere different mate, the unit is moving about the foot well like a Michael jackson in wonderland! More wires will break and cause more problems if its left to move around willy nilly. Mine is bolted to an engineered bracket behind the ABS ecu its totally solid and wont move an inch!
  18. Yeah mine was heat shrinked and soldered. Propper job!
  19. Seriously doubt it mate it should crank over with it switched off. Try and listen for the fuel pump, if the AA man said he cant hear it then it maybe that.
  20. Doubt it`s that mate it wouldn`t even crank over if it was armed or immobilised unless its connected to fuel pump!!!!!
  21. Seems funny how mine has just acted up tho as it has not even coughed since i got it. Maybe a coinsidence.
  22. yeah i did mine too along with the 12volt mod works fine for £70.
