  1. I did mine over the last 2 days too. Like you said the heater conttrols were a pain in the arse. I had problems with the ignition barrel too until I realised the fuse had blown

Haven't done the door ring or the window switches yet, and I'll need to buy some more LED's for the gear surround.

Where did you get the gel sheet from for the clock and odo? Was going to get it off ebay but they only sell big sheets :search:

  2. Saw a blue one at about 7.10am on the M8 in Glasgow heading east, it took the M80 junction ****AAA.

Saw another in Byres Road yesterday afternoon in Red. I think it had came down Cresswell Street then onto Byres Road. It had to stop at the pedestrian crossing outside curlers as I was crossing :p

  3. Spotted just parking in Lochburn Road Maryhill outside the entrance to Maryhill Football Club. Think it had a veilside kit, couldn't see the number plate. I was just walking onto Maryhill Road to pick up my Supra from its MOT at In-Tune.

  4. That was probably me :) i own a silver supra ending in ROS and I was probably heading home from work as I work in Motherwell and stay in Maryhill.

I think that was a Friday around 1pm ish and it had broken down near where I come off the M8!

Sorry I've been slow in replying!

  5. MOT time again :( luckily my car only failed on one thing and that was the front brake application was uneven.

The tester told me that when the brakes are applied the one takes longer to push the pad to the disk. When the brakes are released they release at the same rate.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so is it just a case of cleaning the piston or could it be something else? If it is the piston is it easy to remove?

Any help would be grateful thanks :)

  6. Hoping someone can help me here. I 've managed to get a set of 18" alloys from a scrap yard off a written off mkiv. The alloys didn't have tyres so I was wondering if anyone could advise on what profile tyres etc. I should get.

    Cheers

  7. did you buy it from a dealer? if so maybe you could post up the ad to give us an idea of the spec, as it certainly aint stock. welcome to the board by the way :welcome:

Yes bought it from a dealer, its still on the autotrader website:

    http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/CARS_popup.asp?nU=0&make=TOYOTA&model=SUPRA&min_pr=75&max_pr=&postcode=g20%208hu&miles=40&max_records=50&modelexact=1&photo=1&start=6&distance=8&adcategory=CARS&channel=CARS&id=200532203318759

And Chilli, yeah I'm probably a bit fat too!

  8. Hi there

I've just bought my first supra after years of driving vauxhall astra's! :ecstatic: The car itself is a single turbo automatic imported from japan but I can't find any information on performance (bhp, top speed, 0-60 etc.). I've been searching the net and all I can find is either twin turbo figures or normally aspirated figures. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

    Cheers
