  2. Between I'd say 5 - 10mm no more that 10 deffinitely, the body work doesn't seem to move back any further.
  3. Cheers guys, Paul said he'd replaice the light no probs but, I dont umderstand, the lines on the body work seem to be good, the lines of the headlight seem to be different. how I mean is the glass one seems to be more curved at the top, probably me wishful thinking and all that, gonna get it re-done next summer full job re-spray the whole car and that so some suggestions on good body repair guys around Manchester would be a great help. Also thinking of body kits anyone know of a good one which isn't to loud I've seen the do-luck type 2 kit is nice something like that any suggestions of which one where to buy and where to have fitted would be FANTASTIC. cheers Si
  4. No Iam afraid to say some one bumped my Supra have had it so called fixed bought a new headlight of Paul Evans he sent me the wrong one by mistake should have been a j-spec plastic one got a glass one and where the bumper and bonet meet their is a slight gap between that and the light. Anyone got any suggestions??. PLEASE HELP. cheers Si PS the glass one seems more rounded than the plastic.
  5. Can anyone tell me if their is a difference in size of j- spec headlights and UK-spec headlight. cheers Si

  10. Cheers guys must admit I was slightly concerned of why the repairs were so cheap, but I have seen New BMW's & a Lotus Elise at the place which had work done and it looked as good as new, the extent of the work nothing needs replacing it just needs re-alligning, one thing that does worry me though will be the colour match on the front bumper getting it resprayed, they haven't cracked the front bumper but the paint work has cracked if that makes sense, well if anyone knows of a good bodyshop in MANCHESTER area would be appreciated.
  11. Went to Tesco this Sunday just gone, did my shopping as normal, came back to my baby Supra and to my absolute devastation some one has FCKING rammed it and done one, I was absolutely gutted. I went into Tesco to see if their was any CCTV footage and of course their wasnt, but anyway after lots and lots and lots of swearing, I assesed the damage they've pushed the front bumper back, the bonnet is out of line with the driver side front wing, and some of the brackets for the drivers side headlight are broken and are actually inside the headlight. Now Ive managed to find a body shop, who said they can sought the bodywork for £250. Now I am after a drivers side late spec headlight if anyone has one spare please let me know the car goes into be repaired next Monday(07-11-05). Cant tell you how mad and upset I was plus knowing someone is havin a good laugh at my expense absolute Bstards. Hope someone can help me all replies well appreciated. Si

  19. Cheers guys still a bit confused though, I understand that obviously the pump needs power when being turned, could the by pass be letting through to much air, or am i being stupid, the pump does sound quite loud @ the mo though it is not over reving the engine, idles @ 850 turn wheel goes upto just under 900 any more thoughts are appreciated. cheers guys
  20. Hi everyone, just noticed yesterday on my boost gauge, when it sat idling and the gauge is showing a vacuum, when I turn my steering wheel the gauge jumps upto 10 hg from 20, and when you straighten it back up it goes back down to 20. Now I am guessing (i did not fit gauge) that when the previous owner had it installed he connected the power into the loom of the power steering, would this be corect, and if so where is best to connect for power to the gauge. cheers for your answers. Si.
  21. I'll be there being from the north west and all.
