Im in the Ilford/Romford area. Silver, standard....at the moment. Paul E, ive ordered that Bomex one online as per our conversation earlier...yes this is me! lol No rush for it but as i said earlier, someone will be in 24/7 so could you give us a shout when its winging its way here. Cheers!

The worst thing is about being on forums is that there's a nasty bug that goes around and EVERYONE seems to catch it. Ive had the Supra for exactly 4 days now and ive just gone and ordered a Bomex front bumper, getting wheels on saturday and having it all fitted next week (providing the bumper's here). Is everyone on the same wave length here? It happened with my first car, a fiesta SI. Then a little on a Pug 307. Then a MkIV Golf turbo, now this! Will it ever end? Is there light at the end of the ever lasting tunnel?!

Well, its done now i suppose. You have to bear in mind im only keeping this car for a year and then either selling it as parts or keeping it for a future project car (if i can afford to keep it). Its just a year long bit 'o' fun.

What is the recommended wheel size on a Supra TT? Also what tyres are people wearing? Looking to change mine in the next week or 2.

All sorted now. Cant explain right this moment but he has coughed up a lot and got a year's tax outta him. PS: Can anyone recommend a company in the UK that do competitive priced aftermarket styling/bumpers?

Ok. Just called him. Told him about the missing VIN plate. He said he was aware of the case and had delved into the matter more to find out the vehicle had a wing replaced following a minor accident. Just gets better doesn't it?! He said the plate was not transferred over. He said he's never touch a car if the cassis number had been tampered with on the bulkhead.

I have a transaction receipt with their company details on but the reg number is blank! Same as the Vin number. Crafty

Yes i part ex's a mk4 golf gti turbo. I have printed out various copies from different sites now and am comparing them. I will use this as evidence when i speak to him tomorrow. Also getin touch with the CC company and ask them to put it on hold for the time being or something. Thanks guys. You've been a major help this evening!

Ive just done a quick vehicle check on http://www.carwatchuk.com I entered the VIN number and Reg, paid a surcharge of £3.00 and it has given me some useful info. It says it is a manual (which isn't true) and also says the car was recorded as a Stolen/Recovery subject to a total loss claim. Would this explain the VIN plate missing business do you think?

Some great advice there. Just flicking through the old MOTs and service certs and have noticed the MOTs are the same number as the bulkhead up to nov 04. Now the service cert date nov 17th 2004 has a different VIN/chassis number beginning KZN130 *******. Odd. What number could this be? ...Hold on...that service cert is for a different car!!! He's given me the wrong one! It says the colour is green..instead of silver! OK, NOW im getting angry!!!

It was trade and i paid the difference by CC. They wanted cash but i objected. I will call the guy tomorrow morning and 'have a few words'. I still remember where i got it from so if they play innocent i may have to take a little trip up there

Thanks guys. Just looking through some MOTs and it also has it on there. Looks like the VIN plate has been drilled out! Thats not good! Not good at all!!!!! Think im going to have words with the guy tomorrow! Has this happened to anyone else before?

Im very new to the supra scene (2 days actually) and im trying to find the VIN details of my car. What looks like there should be a plate on the driver's side wing...there isn't!!! There is, however the number along the back of the engine bay reading JZA800-0**** etc. Is this it? Please help! Need the details tonight if possible!!
