Is horrible to see your car go up! When i was about 14, my brother had my dads car (Lotus Sunbem TI) for a week while he was in spain. the carbs had just been replaced (£200) and should last a year with road use. So roll on my dad coming home and he jumps in the car and there was a knocking...not happy my bro had knackered them in a week, so can only think how hard he was driving it! So my dad orders him to take it to the garage to get it fixed and pay for it.. but on the way there the engine mount breaks and falls off, engine drops cutting the fuel pipe, (as we were going through an S bend) brother pumps it... then BOOM fire blows the bonnet up, i dive out, go round to drag my bro out (with no hair now!). fire hit the fuse box, all of the 8 lights on the front start flashin! hense to say when my dad turns up he's a bit pissed!

thats brilliant! If there were ever to be an advert not to buy a smart car that would be it!

so is it a standard NA?

oops, keeps doin that, gaz logged on to my comp a while back, and it keeps loggin in under him, not me!

and my dad harps on and everyone being in a rush all the time these days, as i tootles along at 60 on the motorway! Pops... you got love them
