Suprash Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 So Im running a R154 box and am trying to get the speedo working. Now I read on the net that all I needed to do was to get hold of a W58 speed sensor and then remove the R154 speed sensor. Then I could swap the wheels over from the R154 speed sensor to the W58 speed sensor and then re-fit that back into the R154 box. This would then give me the correct plugs off the speed sensor to plug into the Supra loom. But upon removing the R154 speed sensor it looks like it doesnt run off a wheel like the W58, but some sort of elctro magnet sensor ? Anyone know for sure ? Suprash Posted March 3, 2012 Author Share Posted March 3, 2012 Got it sorted mate, I was looking at the wrong sensor, it was on the other side. We got it out and took the wheel off, then transfered that to the spindle of the W58 but the wheel isnt very true when you spin it, so Im a little worried about putting it back if it spins off center as its only plastic and I dont want to mash it up, but as it only pushes on the end you cant really do it wrong, but its definitely not sat flat ?
