Hiya, Not been around much on the forum recently as I have changed jobs and, in a moment of drunken stupidity, agreed to run the London Marathon for a local charity. I've been training since the begining of the year and am hoping to achieve sub-4hours. I can honestly say that I am looking forward to it, and am looking forward even more to getting a drunken social life back and going to car meets. Having to run 18 miles on Saturday mornings does tend to prevent you from having a serious night out before it. I am running in aid of Winstons Wish, which is a charity local to me who help bereaved children and young people rebuild their lives after a family death. If anyone on the forum would like to sponsor me, they can do it online at www.justgiving.com/wilfman or PM

Ian, You are hereby nominated for post of the year:p What a fantastic article, especially as I am currently suffering from 2nd Turbo cutting in late:)
-
Cheers Paul, Will go through all the hoses at the w/e. If any are dodgy i'll probably end up ordering the kit from you. Love the click to enlarge photo on the above link BTW:p

On a recent power run I noticed the 2nd Turbo not kicking in until about 4800RPM. Coolsup suggested that I replace all the small hoses to the actuator as these are a likely cause. Are the hoses the common cause of the problem? If so where/what hoses should I get? How easy is it to replace them/any special tools? TIA

Cheers Martin, fantastic day, shame some cars had probs. Must admit I didn't realise how loud my RSR was until I heard at a full howl. At that is with the muffler in Fantastic result for the NA ray. But don't worry I will always watch my back. It aint likely that you'll be in front:twak:

Cheers Martin and Damo for organising this. No huge power cars unfortunatley, but the Supes came top of the day with Coolsup 384bhp and DanDan around 375. Those GTO's, defo a case of all mouth and no trousers Sure someone will be posting up some pics soon.

Cool - Speak to you later Ray. Martin - Kev Gleeson (Skyline) aint gonna make it. His car has gone up to bolton for mod number 54!

I am still really interested but it looks like the numbers for Kemble means it aint gonna happen. Always the way Rob, loads of interest till money is needed:( Rob I hope you don't mind me robbing the thread but if it is going to be a no goer.... For those still interested, I am thinking of doing a track day at Hullavington (nr Malmesbury so good for the folks who were interested in Kemble). Possible dates are Fri 15th Oct or Fri Nov 5th. £99 for the day with tons of track time (normally too much for me!). Run by people who will not allow idiots on the track and it is run on a disused airfield with tons of run-off. Check out http://www.motorsports-events.co.uk -
Cheque will head off to you tommorow Martin. Can't wait.... With 30 cars going, are we going to be able to book an approx time?
