razza
Just got my new HIDs today and fitted them (hurrah, fog lights off now and back to two headlights!!) Only thing is the drivers side seems quite white, I got the 6000k set and the left one has a blue tint, right one seems like a 4200k as I can't make out a blue tint. Anyone order these through vision bulbs and notice the same, is it possible they got them mixed up, or do I need to let them warm up for longer? SupraJames
I got the 8k kit and both bulbs look fine to me, they dont take long to warm up, 10 seconds tops.
Ark
Each time I fitted one more pair and fired the whole lot up to test them, I noticed at least one bulb was a different colour to the rest...but after you burn them in for a while (just use them normally) they all settled to the same colour. Nothing to worry about.
imi
arent you supposed to leave them on for 10-15 mins (burn-in) when they are new?
Ark
Yes, but even after that short time they won't necessarily have settled.
imi
oh well, I cant speak for the visionbulb ones. My Japanese ones settled after an initial burn-in of 15 mins as documented in the manual.
