Millsy
Was down at Elite in Rainham earlier this week and they had a set of wheels I really fancied - but I'm skint with moving house and breaking my gearbox. Just thought I'd give you guys the heads up (mainly because I want to see what they look like on a Supra!) They were 18in TTE (?) wheels. 9.5 and 8.5. They're second hand but mint, came off a Skyline apparently but they were adament they'd fit a Supra. Five spokes in black with a nice deep polished dish. They needed two new tyres on the back ones and Elite reckoned they could get those and fit taking the total cost to about £800. I thought it sounded like a bargain, and they were even up for letting me try the front wheel on the car to check calliper clearance. This isn't a for sale post as I have nothing to do with Elite or the guy that owned the wheels, just thought they were a great looking bargain. Millsy
They're a bit crappy but you get the idea!
michael
That's not a TTE wheel, it's by a company called Inovit, they do fairly cheap stuff that you can normally pick up new for £800 a set with tyres.
Millsy
Ah, really? Well that's maybe a good thing for future reference then! Are they crappy quality?
michael
I've only ever seen them on cars, no idea on the quality I'm afraid.
