Golddigga
Hi all, Somebody has given me a warning chat regarding the clutch in a Supe. I am about to get a 95 N/A with 86k miles on the clock - How much would a new clutch be for this car (approx, incl fitting) Also, how reliable is the clutch in this car? Am I being given paranoia by somebody who doesn't know what they are talking about?
Getrag
What did the warning chat involve? Cost? Got mine done recently on a TT and if it was just clutch I imagine about 5 hours labour? The clutch on yours will be reliable but depends how you drive? Smooth and careful vs lots of launches, slipping it all the time in traffic, hard shifts. Golddigga
Warning was to do with cost and reliability - i.e. very high cost to replace and not very reliable clutch
Thorin
Cost, about £350 for a stock clutch (?). And as reliable as any other car's clutch.
