ArghJae Posted August 1, 2005 Share Posted August 1, 2005 My drivers side window has stopped working all of a sudden. The passenger side is working fine. I've checked the fuses and I think the motor might have given up. To make things worse I'm still waiting to book my car in to get the a/c repaired so now I'll be sweltering in the heat. It turned out that the metal cord used in the window system had frayed(SP) and had clogged the motor. My electric window stopped working tonight on my way home 10.30pm (in the dam rain!!!) took the door card of tonight hoping it was something simple I could fix, only to find the metal cord has broke and my window is now stuck open ;0( going to have a fiddle with it tomorrow after work.
