b_have Posted July 30, 2005 Share Posted July 30, 2005 Ok, just finished installing the Co2 bottle and pipework. Need to decide how close to the intercooler to fit the spraybar. (jeez this stuff is cold!) Was thinking of fitting a spraybar top and bottom about 50~75mm in front of the fmic. Anyone know what the optimum distance would be? Just wondering if I will lose the efficiency if I spray 75mm away. At 20mm it forms a kind of dry ice, could this crack the ic element? If you inject water/methanol (mainly meth) right after the i/c outlet then you could drop it another 20C still. Not sure how well the C02 works though. How much does it cost to refill it?
