NUTKIN Posted July 28, 2019 Share Posted July 28, 2019 Hi all, my AC seems to work too much as normal systems switch on and off every minute or so but mine doesn’t. Is there a control unit somewhere which could be wet or faulty ? It just gets colder and colder and even smokes threw the vents (cold). rider Posted July 31, 2019 Share Posted July 31, 2019 Does the a/c run even when its switched off at the controller? if it does then you may have a failed compressor clutch relay that is constantly feeding voltage to keep the clutch engaged, permanently when the power is on. Or it could be a seized clutch. If the a/c cuts off when shut down manually but goes full belt all other times then I'd next look to the ambient temperature sensor which might have issues. Good luck.
