JustGav
Looks like an alarm unit, although if there is a vacuum pipe running to it, it could be a boost controller or boost pressure sensor. Given that you have an NA now the engine will be somewhat different and you wouldn't have a boost controller/sensor. EDIT : That isn't a vacuum pipe, someone has put silicon over the throttle lead.... Go with the first one, ALARM

pedrosixfour
While we are all here can someone tell ME what the black plastic unit with the 2 small hoses running into it, located at the top right hand corner is. Its just behind and to the right of the ABS unit. Cheers
adnanshah247
as said if it has a vacuum hose going to it, its a boost controller, or dump valve or sensor. if it has just some wires poking out i guess its an alarm speaker.

pedrosixfour
Yeah, thought so. Did a quick search where it seems to spring up alot in single conversion threads and with mine being a NA i started to wonder if I was wide of the mark. Any idea of its purpose and can it be of any benefit to remone it from a track car? Cheers.
