DaveSupTT
Hi all, Just toying with the idea at the moment but im thinking of getting a full re spray on the car. I want something tricky that looks good, see pic attached for the colour i had in mind. I was just wondering do any of you lot know how much id be looking at for this kind of work and who is best to take it to to have it done. I know it wont be cheap hence why its only a thought, plus I think it look nice in silver, but i really like this tricky red colour!

Rollin_Thunder
i been quoted 3k for a respray & have mesh fitted inside the front bumper, then fit & meld a alloy plate under neath into the under belly of the front bumper the color was meant to be sAAb electric blue, but i dunno if i can be bothered to do it, as 3k is a lot of money & so the car would owe me 8k hmmm

paul mac
a word of warning with non standard colours, when you get the inevitable stone chip or scratch you will be in the s**t as touch up of exotics is difficult, also think of engine bays, door jams etc i did all these with aerosols from halfords, if wonga is no object go for the exotic otherwise back off and check out the standard colours in Halfords

Hmmm, well it wont be any time soon, 3k is a lot of money, especially when my current paint work is imaculate. I do like the exotic colours though.
