steb9780
I have got the Ultralite 755/NUR's on my car and have noticed that the caphead screws around the rim are starting to corrode. I knew it would happen eventually but they've not been on the car a year yet. So my question is are they screwed in so they can be replaced or are they just the heads stuck/glued on (which I believe is quite common). If they are screwed in I was thinking of getting some of those aerotek ones or some titanium/stainless ones. Thanks!
Big Ads
Not sure if they are stuck on or not, you got any pics? There is an Ultralite stockist close to you though: Unit 2 Enterprise Court Lancashire business Park Leyland. PR26 6TZ. 01772 299825 Maybe ask them? steb9780
interesting i have those wheels (love them!) and mine are ok so far but ive only had them on about 3 months Yeah last time I washed the car I noticed it. They have been on the car for about 11 months now. I have a feeling the heads are stuck on, as when I looked at the allen key bit they looked rounded as if they weren't supposed to be removed. It could just be where the coating is peeling though giving that effect.

Sukhy
Hi mate, I noticed this too whilst washing them. They start to flake just a little. But as you say, I knew it was gonna happen too and they have been on my s14a for about a year and a half.

Chris Wilson
AFAIK they are dummy heads, and part of the casting.
steb9780
AFAIK they are dummy heads, and part of the casting. Oh well, it would have been good if they could be changed. Thanks Chris! Do you still get those VEMS AFR/EGT gauges. I might be interested in one a bit closer to Xmas.
