Gazboy
I think you need to passenger, or better yet drive a members car with the stock autobox, t/c and a small single, as it's a subjective thing.

stupra
A T61 sized turbo would be ideal for an auto Supra, good power and good spool. Having been in an auto Supra with this turbo it's the one I went for.
RobEvans
Id love a passenger ride but theres not many supras near me... Id like somewhere near stock power delivery, I understand thats impossible but you get the idea
Tom
If it were me I'd probably just source another set of standard turbo's reconditioned or uprated, it would be waste of £1000's for going single for that sort of bhp imo
RobEvans
Maybe saving for brand new toyota turbos is the best option for me

Iirc Wez's spools very quickly, perhaps take a peek in his garage to see what components he's using, and ask him who mapped his car.

Wez
I think a well setup small turbo out performs a stock turbo based motor in all areas, even lower down
Supra ST Myster
there you go mate http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1WolE2wgHl4 cost me all in all around 600 for everything to convert from twins to single, did the work myself so saved a fair bit on that. Gazboy
£600 for a turbo, pipework, ems & map, manifold plus injectors? Result
Wez
Is that a typo and should be £6000 not £600.
Supra ST Myster
no, £600 is correct so far but not done anything on the fueling which is why its running low boost, but it is running a bit rich so thats good and i could pull in a bit more power if i wanted to but leaving it safe for the moment till i get injectors and emanage, i only want to take it to 1bar as think thats plenty. Wez
What turbo, manifold, wastegate, intercooler and clutch are you using?
Supra ST Myster
its a t61, manifold is the same style as the ones arnout sells, cast iron and belive its called the log design?, its an auto mate so standard box and the external wastegate is made by tial and size is 38mm
Wez
Very similar to my setup except I am manual

Ian Ian
Rob give Rob Wild a ring mate he,s gone single as you know, i think he,s going for more power tho but he knows how to put a Single on and will have some good advice whether you want to go down that route or stick with the Twin set up ( which IMO will be the better option ) Cheers Ian
