Guest supra86 Posted May 9, 2007 Share Posted May 9, 2007 wondered if anyone could help me when im stationary with the engine tickin over and slightly turn the steering wheel the revs die rightdown but then go back up, any one have a clue what that is all about????????? TrickTT Posted May 10, 2007 Share Posted May 10, 2007 its your power steering,it needs the engine to work hence when you turn when stationary it needs more power Thats correct, but to compensate for this, toyota fit a bypass pipe to allow more air into the engine when the steering is turned. If your revs are dropping then the control valve could be knackered, or 1 of the pipes blocked.
