Coilovers for just the front?

Kept looking at my car thinking the front needed dropping a bit. Have Tanabe shocks and springs all round at the moment, but thinking I may try to get a pair of coilovers for the front.

I drive the car a lot and I can handle the stiffness at the moment and the front lip clears almost everything. Can anyone recommend coilovers for the front that won't affect the ride comfort massively but can wide down to be lower that the Tanabe shocks and springs by a couple of cms? Oh, and not ridiculously expensive too!!! Thanks

Depends how low you wish to go.

I have Koni's and Eibachs the drop is quite a but I do not have clearence issues, the ride is firm but does not shatter your spinal cord and is good in the bends.

If it is coilovers you want the the basic Tein ones will be fine. See Nic

You can get a set (as in 4!) of springs that will lower your supra a little more without getting adjustable dampers as well, if your on a budget. But a good set of coilovers with adjustable gas dampers would allow you to adjust the ride height more precisely. They're not cheap but would be a good investment.

At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and short cuts will not do the car or you any good in the long term. Hope you get it sorted though, safely!
