ClaireRZ-S Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 Right folks i dont have the car long so only getting around to looking at this (well chris looked at it for me) there seems to be power in the boost controller turns and lights up fine tried to turn the boost up and down and doesn't make a difference anything that we should look at to fix this?? ClaireRZ-S Posted November 16, 2008 Author Share Posted November 16, 2008 (edited) I dont really know much about them to be honest but behind the EBC - 3 cables , 1 for power with socket/plug ends up in the black box in the engine bay (top left of pic). bigbloodyturbo Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 is the harness to the black box in the engine bay connected up? you said that there's three cables coming out the back, one should be for power (going to your fuse box) with a black ground wire going to the chassis, then there should be a harness going to the black box, that should go through the firewall into the engine bay, then there should be a black hose(not a wire) going to the intake manifold. Supra-Dupra Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 It was just the boost hose had come off the nipple (sensor?) inside the ebc, opened it up took out the circuit board and opened the hose clamp then back together and it works.
