Xbox 360 question

I am looking at a 360 for Xmas, ideally I want an optical out for the sound. I have read something about needing the AV kit. Does this come with the Elite and not with the Premium?

 

Or does it not come with any of them. I want a HD connection and digital sound for 5.1 dts.

 

Anybody got any advice on this?

It has an optical out on the normal cable. I use it on mine which is a premium.

Do your premiums have the HD connection or not? I believe the newer premiums have HD connections now.

I think the new ones arre called, PRO and Elite. They have HDMI output.

Then you can buy these cables for 5.1.

Thanks for that. I thought I read something about optical leads though, it said you'd need a TOS splitter, to use Sky and Xbox through the optical input of my surround sound.
