chris2o2
The supra i have recently purchased had an FSE power boost valve fitted , this was going to be the previous members next job but i jumped in before that and bought that car from him !! I plan on replacing it with the stock system/aeromotive version but we think i'll need to have the SAFC set up again to make sure the car doesnt run lean . Does anyone know of somewhere in or around Glasgow preferably that could do this job ? or somewhere in Scotland that you can recomend . Cheers . bolarbag
Mark at the Garage in Wishaw...go if you dare...or have 6weeks to spare;) What are you actually fitting? Isnt the FSE power valve a cheap ventilation gimmic?
chris2o2
Firstly , shit your car looks awesome . Secondly when i bought the car the seller had mentioned he planned on removing the fse power boost valve as it had leaked before and i get the impression its a bit shit . I will replace it with something better but i think the SAFC may need set-up again and need someone capable of doing this .
brians25
hi mate i am in scotland to, there is a place in bonnybridge, take the m9 from glasgow, think it's called the garage, and also crd in east calder but they are quite expensive
bolarbag
Cheers:d I very much doubt the SAFC will need setup again, most EMS are self configuring to a point, removing the FSE will make no noticeable difference to any values, Does your car have Black wheels? Mines looks in a bit of a sorry state at the mo, trying to do everything at once, exterior, interior, engine and drivetrain, could have bought 2supra's over! Should be terrorising Glasgow's streets agian in a few months all going well!

chris2o2
Ok finally got round to getting this sorted now , do we reckon the garage in wishaw is the place to go ? Anyone else think i'll be ok without getting the SAFC set up again or should i have it done ? I'm quite paranoid that anything i do to this car will kill it ! Gruggs
shouldnt need the safc set up again i would have thought. The garage is good, although pricey. There are a few other places out there such as KR tuning or Performancetek incase you dont use the garage. G
Franko
Personally i havent heard any good reports about any garage for modded cars and prefer to take it to Envy
Scott
Never had any hassle with the garage myself, in fact i'll be taking it in soon to get my tubby's looked at. Although they are expensive and Mark does take on a bit too much work.
Gruggs
Personally i havent heard any good reports about any garage for modded cars and prefer to take it to Envy I know it is difficult up here to find a good garage. My mechanic is a mate/client and while he doesnt deal in modded cars his mechanical knowledge is absolutely top notch. So we find it best to work most things through together so that its right. Plus it lets me tinker around with the car and pretend i'm a mechanic with my wee Tomy's first toolkit and wee boiler suit.
Jamesy W
There is always Freeflow/Complete Auto Solutions. They have always sorted me out and aren't too pricey.
