J-Spec Caliper removal

Hi all,

I've searched the forum for various phrases but couldn't find a guide on how to remove a caliper. Bolts etc are all self explanatory, the only thing I'm unsure of is how do you deal with the brake line? Do you clip it somehow to stop all the fluid coming out?

Thought I'd read somewhere about keeping the brake pedal depressed to stop the fluid coming out or have I imagined that?! I can't seem to find it now

Any advice appreciated, hopefully doing it this weekend. ;)

Cheers.

You *can* clamp the brake hose. But to be honest I realy don't like that Idea as it's possible to end up with it kinked.

Just undo the line and have a decent container to catch the fluid in. They'll be a bit, but it's not going to be pissing everywhere under pressure.
