Guest magpie9
i've finally this hour just parted with £3800 for a 93 TT auto in absolute pristine condition. totally standard and a great platform me thinks for a bit of modifying. one thing though, and minor really- there is a red warning light on in the dash. not the engine management light. the alternator is showing -14.4 when running. minus 14.4 being the concern. as i'm very new to this whole supra lark i'd welcome any advice or suggestions from anyone who may have ideas or suffered the same problem. many thanks, les
Scoboblio
I'm no expert, but I think what matters is the difference in voltage from the battery when running, and when not. It should go up a couple of volts when you start the engine.... if the voltage stays the same, the alternator isn't charging the battery.
