AMG
Does anybody know how easy it is to remove the door catch on the B pillar? I have a new one as my old interior light button had broken. Is it just the two big screws to take out (unless they are nut and bolts). If they are nut and bolts how do you get behind the pillar to tighten the nuts (remove interior trim?)? Any help or ideas would be apreciated.
dude
The 'behind' part is a plate that holds the nuts captive , this sits in a slot and SHOULDNT fall out , the bolts are a torx drive . Dude:flame Dev
AMG
Thanks for the reply mate, If it does fall out for any reason is it possible to get behind to sort it. Just trying to prepare myself because in my experience there is always something that goes wrong.
dude
if the plate comes out you can get to it by removing the rear panel next to the seat . Dude:flame Dev
