far Posted October 13, 2007 Share Posted October 13, 2007 When playing some movies in Windows media player etc I get the message saying I do not have a particular codec - anyone know the location of a safe codec pack I can download from somewhere which resolves this without putting malware/adware on my PC as I've read some codec pack download sites send you nasties too;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It comes with media player classic which I find much better to use for downloaded movies. Never had a problem with spy/adware but it does install a shed load of components.
