Its stripped of all the powdercoat then polished and chromed. The chrome isn't likely to flake off unless you put too much torque on the nuts. You are more likely to get rust if anything, which is why you must wax the chrome every now and again to protect the surface from water etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
