Benefits of boost cont-ex wastegate

Hello everyone,

 

Doe's anybody run there boost just of there ext wastegate?

and

Did any of u notice any difference when u added a boost controller to your wastegate?

 

I know u suppose to get better spool but the reason i ask is, i recently i discovered a boost leak and when i fixed that my boost pressure went up. I have my wastegate adjusted for min boost which was 1.2 bar and used my BC to raise it to 1.35 bar.

Since i fixed the boost leak my min boost has gone up to 1.35bar which is spring pressre on wastegate. So now i have 2 choices,

 

1, To buy a new spring which will allow me to run lower boost and raise it with BC.

2, To leave it running of spring pressure without BC.

 

I am currently running of spring pressure and it feels great not noticed much differece in spool and the boost feels crisp.

So i am just asking for opinions if it would be worth buying another spring and taking of the wastegate etc.

Will there be any noticable difference or should i not bother.
