mathew Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 right heres the scenario. i put an offer in on a house and its been accepted. thats it. but im now a bit stuck as in what to do next, as you can see ive really researched this . when it comes to mortgages and solicitors which do i/should i sort out first? also, when it comes to finding a solicitor is it just a case of phoning up a practice and simply asking for them to be my solicitor?? any help thrown my way will be gratefully accepted as i wanna get this sorted as soon as poss:) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Charlotte Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 You should see a financial advisor to get help on arranging the mortgage. The estate agent might have one in house or know of one. They might also have in-house conveyancing but I'd suggest you do a bit of research of your local firms before going with them because they tend to be a factory that don't really take much notice of you specifically.
