old car magazines

One of my neighbours has some old car mags/racing mags which he's looking to sell. Date back to 60's. Also some old Hot Rod magazines and some old Austin workshop manuals.

Anyone know whether these are worth anything or interested? I'll get a proper list if anyone's interested

cheers

Not in the same league as a Ferrari, but Italian and a bit special IMHO
Mate one can say that there is not much in the same league as a Ferrari. But of course i like all cars no matter what the make if there interesting, hey after all i am on here aint i;) And the Lancia Intergrale is up there with the greats.

No i dont know anyone with an Integrale, but i know they are a very serious car. I have seen a few and i do like em. One guy i know used to have one before i knew him, and he says they are great. I believe they only made them in LHD. Epic car dude:D

Cheers Bud. Yeah LHD, can be a pain overtaking. What gets me is that 18 years ago Lancia put a 200 bhp 2.0 lump in a hatchback and it did 0-60 in 5.7 and was faster than many 'supercars' 30-70 of the same era. Now VW puts a 200 bhp 2.0 ltr in a golf and it does 0.60 in 7.2 secs. Hardly progress!!

Thanks very much, and for your time:)

Spider. Haven't seen neighbour to ask about Ferraris, but he's put a list of what he's got under my door. Not sure if there's much to interest you. Most relevant may be:

2 copies of Motor Racing from Oct & Nov 66

9 copies of Autosport from 1967

5 copies of Autosport from 1998

20 Thruxton & Castle Combe programmes from 1966-1970
