AlanM Posted August 28, 2007 Author Share Posted August 28, 2007 Well, there is a red cable comes out of the base of the stubby arial, I assume it is for a wee amplifying circuit The stock arial had a red and a green wire attached to it. steb9780 Posted August 28, 2007 Share Posted August 28, 2007 Yep no worries I might do the same then. I put mine in and didn't bother wiring the amplifier. As I had read about the wire only supplying power for a short time. My aerial gets bad reception too sometimes without the amp bit, so will give that a try.
