Jurgen-Jm-Imports
all he will be doing is changing the display from km to mph and adjusing the correct mileage for the car u get a reciept to tell u what conversion takes place, a lot of guys who buy supras from me normally get it done afterwards and the have not had any problems. michael
I believe it's legal - adjusting the readings isn't dodgy if you are simply converting to miles from km but selling the car with the intention to defraud is. So yes you can do it if it's adjustment to make it read correctly or to correct a fault (like the one on 307's where the clock reads wrong from the factory) but obviously it's not on to get carried away to make the car have less miles on the clock You normally get a certificate with the conversion that lists reasons and the previous breakdown of miles I believe. The Office of Fair Trading currently has a request lodged with the government to stop people being able to advertise this service.
