Guest Vangsoe
Hi guys, My 1995 TT aut. Euro spec is fitted with a "Security System" It looks original - see photo. Anybody knows anyting about this system ?. Any chance it will cut the signal to the fuelpump when activated or malfunctioning ?. The red warning light does NOT come on when i close / lock the doors. I am having problems with my fuel pump, not beeing activated when trying to start the car. Connecting Fp and B+ in the diagnostic box, and the engine fires up normally. Tks for your input Niels from Denmark
MrRalphMan
Hiya, My UK spec has this light, I think it's the standard alarm that arms via the key rather then a fob. AFAIK it does not cut the Fuel pumps, just lets the feable horn beep a little.
Matt Harwood
UK spec alarm is very different from the European standard fit thing. The UK alarms have three immobilisation points. As far as I know, the factory fitted one, only has one. Sadly I can't really help identify the problem on a European system as I've never actually seen one in reality. I've been told that it is a fuel cut, but I've also been told it only cuts the starter motor...

bodilx6
Hey Niels Prøv på supraforums.com hvis du ik finder noget direkte svar her. Der er det 99% US spec, og de er noget nærmere EU spec end alle japanerne. Just a thought /Stefan

Guest Vangsoe
Tks Stefan - Matt - that was Danish you know :-) I fould the problem though - it was the fuel pump ECU in the trunk that was toasted. I did a constant 12V FP supply and its up and running now. Tks again. later Niels
