Cheapest Front Brake Pads for UK Calipers?

I'm after the cheapest set of Front Brake Pads (ie. Stock/OE) for UK Spec calipers I can pick up near in Essex or North London?:search:

I'm not a total cheapskate ;) it's just my front pads are shot and need to use car over next couple of weekends, but I also wanna change my Front discs at some point in nearish future, but not sure on whether to go for Non-OE or not.

Current Discs arn't to lipped yet but theres a nasty blue band on faces, I reckon I've overcooked em, feel a little warped through the pedal too.

So just need some cheap front pads I can pick up and slap on asap, so i dont end up on metal to metal before I've decided on upgrades.:)

ive got a set for £30 you can have mate, they have done 10miles. I took them off to change to hawk pads.

Thanks for the offer mate but i take it your in Wales? I need some which i can pick up tommorow/later today as going to a meet in the evening.:(

Was planning on ordering a full set of Hawk Brembo Spec from the US! but they may take some time to arrive and i'm still undecided on which discs to go for.

The hawks are awesome, worth buying.

Yup i am in wales, i could send them to you, but you wouldnt get them till tomorrow (thursday)

You cant go far wrong with the standard uk discs, thats what i have on, but i've also got a set of DBA golds sitting there which i may bang on, they have a really good reputation too.

Yeah I've heard DBA's and 3G's being praised also stock's being really dependable.

I know I wanna avoid drilled cos their prone to cracking around disc holes and I'm unsure about grooved, as I used to have 12 groove Tar-Ox's on my ol Integrale but used to hate the way the pedal felt on light application.

It was like each groove could be felt through the pedal, but if having the grooves make enough of an improvement in braking efficiency they I may still go for them perhaps curved grooves of some sort may allieviate the horrible

symptoms i'd had in the past.
