Dave F
Guys Most of the time the illuminated part of the fan and temperature knobs does not light up, but on the odd occasion it will. Not so much when I go over a bump or jolt it just whenever it feels like it. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and knows how to sort it before I rip it all apart:devil:
Jake
I didn't think the temp dial had any LEDs in it
Dave F
It should illuminate when the lights are on (as far as I remember)
Supra ST Myster
The Temp has one bulb that illuminates the complete section, and the fan speed has 5 LEDs around the top and one bulb for the bottom half of it..
lightwave
Can anyone post pics, cos I think (can't remember exactly cos the car's in the shop) that like Jake says, one knob light (oo-er) does illuminate and the other doesn't. I think the same as Jake's, my temperature knob doesn't light up.
salvatore
Get emin (supra TT myster) to do a blue dash light conversion for ya - can highly reccomend it, and solves the problem of the dodgy lights!! No need to pay me for the free promo emin!!
lightwave
Woo... somebody else up late/early! Umm, blue lights would be very nice - they look cool and clean, but they wouldn't fit so well with my green theme. Perhaps the green lights need rejuvinating with some newer brighter/greener ones though. Maybe emin could do that instead of blue for me. How much is a spesh LED conversion? Supra ST Myster
The Tempreture Knob is the one that has a bit on it that lights up and that is from the same bulb that makes the actuall dial light up. Lightwave, i can change your lights to pretty much any colour now like, yellow, red, pink, purple, blue, orange, white, ect.. so green is fine! what bits do you want changing and i will pm you the details.. toyotasuprauk
So its not just me then. Mine is doing the exact same thing. Sometimes its lit sometimes not. I'm assuming its a lose connection somewhere but just haven't had time to take it apart and take a look yet.

Dave F
When I had the dash out to fit the stereo I looked for loose connections but there were no obvious ones. Has anyone managed to sort this?
