Ryenose
Just bought some HID bulbs to replace mine as one has stopped working (accidently broke) oops The trouble is they have different connectors to the ones on my kit has, which was on the car when i bought it. Would it simply be a case of chopping the connectors off and soldering the wires together? Is there a certain way around the wires need to go into the bulb or does it not matter? Many thanks! SupraJames
You could do that, but I would be a bit carefull, HID Ballasts run at approx 23,000 Volts. Think each bulb has a + and - wire, so prob dont want to get those the wrong way round. Could be wrong and sure someone will be able to answer. The safest option but not the cheapest would be to a complete kit from the place you bought the bulbs, then at least you have a spare set of bulbs.
