supRo
Is it a bad idea to paint walls in this sort of heat? Obviously I could be out enjoying the sun but say I wanted to do the painting, would this sort of heat possibly dry out the paint too quick and cause micro cracks in it? I know you can add a little water but I don't want to muck about with the paint consistency. I'm just re-decorating my house but behind on schedule! Thanks, Ro

Max Headroom
If its too hot and you are worried about the paint drying too quickly then these should help. 1. As mentioned before, paint quicker. 2. Use a bigger brush, instead of a 3 in brush use a 6 in brush and cover twice the area. 3. You have two hands, use both to paint with. 4. Make it a family affair and get all the family painting using steps 1 to 3 above. Worked for me
Guest Phillw454
well paint faster then:tongue: Perfect answer!! If it dries fast then theres less chance of you leaning on it and mucking it up:d
