n boost
hello everyone, I am having a problem trying to hold 1.35 bar boost on my hks to4r. Basically the boost is inconsistent i.e 1 bar-1,1,1,3 etc and changes at random. I have checked my pipes for splits etc, and also have changed my xs wastegate to a greddy one. I have a xs power manifold which does not look bad internally, has neat welds and decent size hole for dump pipe. i have also changed my boost controller to blitz sbc-id. Has anybody here had this problem, anyone got any ideas to what could be causing this as it is driving me nuts!
bondango
Do you know what pressure the wastegate Spring is rated for? if so, set it up to run on that only (remove boost controller) and hook up Wastegate to run normally, if she holds steady boost then its the boost controller and more than likely the gain settings, it takes a while to get them correct. n boost
hello mate I have tried various springs and my current wastegate is adjustable. I also changed the boost cont before. Thinking might have something to do with my greddy rs bov not holding pressure or leaking. Anybody have experience with these bov and would bov cause inconsistent boost levels? Are there any known issues with these bov?
