Steve W2 Posted October 27, 2004 Share Posted October 27, 2004 Don't know about the diagnostic Jurgen sorry. If it had a spoiler fitted you should see the two button at the bootm of the drivers console just in front of the gear stick. Anyway, you need to check if the connections to the spoiler are still there, they are located through the drivers side scoop in the front bumper (assuming its a standard bumper). You could also play with the spoiler ECU which sits behind the stereo, if the worst comes to the worst you could get the wiring diagram and short out two connectos on that or, take it completely. It will be the spoiler ECU sending the signal to make the light flash, if it aint there it can't make the light flash can it:) Do a search on here there is a scanned wiring diagram somewhere. Jurgen-Jm-Imports Posted October 27, 2004 Author Share Posted October 27, 2004 thanks steve, it had an aero bumber on a can see the connectiondshave been tape up at the front end and the button in the dash has been taking out, but the connector clip is there behind cd player i have tried to do a search but bit technical sorry to be a pain but can u see if u can locate me a link, doesnt have to be straight away a just want that light out of the way. looneytune Posted October 28, 2004 Share Posted October 28, 2004 just done it, it worked! pretty simple really, took out the the two efi fuses and unplugged the active spoiler ecu, put it back together and hey presto no warning light! thanks for the advice hope yours works too.
