_Rob_
My cars nearly BPU. Double decatted with Nur Spec exhaust. How could I find out if this is more than the allowed noise limit for certain track days? I believe most limits are 98dB drive by.
michael
I've generally been OK - NuR here too. At Donington the marshals stopped me before I even got on track, they insisted it would be too loud, I just took it easy past the top end of the pit straight (mic for computerised sound level thing is there) but had my baffle with me just in case. You can hire a sound meter from Bookatrack if you want to test in advance. Chances are you'll be on the limit if not slightly over, your progress will depend on how friendly the track is
_Rob_
Nightmare! I was thinking of Donnington as thats pretty local to me. Apart from putting the cats back in, what are my options if its over the limit? Is there a baffle that can be purchased seperately from the exhaust, as the exhaust was on the car when I got her. michael
Baffle, people often have them gathering dust in the garage, borrow or buy one
