matt
Just installing the emanage and have an issue with the ignition wiring harness. The manuals clearly state that the Input side wires have a white trace and should have female bullets already attached. Mine has male bullets on the white trace wires (input) and female bullets on the black trace wires (output). Have I got a Friday afternoon harness?? Anybody else come across this? Before I change the pins in the multi-plug can someone confirm that the wiring diagram is correct and that the white trace is indeed the input side. matt
Incorrect pre-wired harness, I guess.... If I'd checked the harness first I could have avoided it:innocent: I foolishly followed the manual... No biggie I just reversed the connections at the multiplug So for anyone else..... check your harness is wired as per the fitting manual. If not, use the appropriate connecters ie male where it says female.
Matt Harwood
I had that on my one too... All the others we've done have been correct. Maybe it's a unique harness to try to piss off 'Matt's'
matt
Spooky! Still, it'll teach me to take things out of the box and check 'em first!! Do you have any files from when you were on twins, Matt? I'm leaving mine until I fit the 550's .... I'm hitting 100% duty cycle at 1.2bar!! I'd like to see what you tweaked before I visit the RR
Matt Harwood
I have, but I doubt you'd want to try it. Firstly, because it was done in TTC mode, and secondly because I've got a really moody ECU that heavily over fuels over 4krpm, so the amount of backing off I did would cause most cars to run dangerously lean. My car now has 650's in it, and I'm having to back them off by 65-70% at the mid and top!
matt
I still wouldn't mind a look. I'm not thinking of loading it .... just curious really
