vaderman
Hi everyone, I was renewing my insurance the other day and when they sent me a cover note a few days later, demanded a certificate of installation for the alarm. I dont have it as the alarm was installed by one of the past owners, but I wished the insurance company had mentioned it during the application. Anyone know a way round this, or should I find another insurer who wont ask? Cheers guys.
TrickTT
What type of alarm is it. Clifford dealers can check the alarm and issue a thatcham cert for a small fee, not sure about other makes.
Rory
I had to do this as well.. what I did was go to an alarm installation company and they checked over the installation and issued me with a cert for a small price. Mine isn't a clifford btw but they certified it anyway.
