Mine is, and DESPITE not being the most fashionable, I like the ride NO stiffer than it is already thank you. (pun) ] My car also came with 16' wheels. You get a significant handling improvement by going to 17's. UK stock wheels can be purchased second hand from £250. As for the ride comfort, the difference is hardly noticeable. I'd have to try a Soop with the 17's first, BUT, if there IS no difference then the 17's are liable to be easier to get tyres for ?????? I know when I drove RS's with anything bigger than the standard 15's the ride become EVEN HARDER and MORE skittish round bumpier corners ! !
