rear numbe plate garnish thing - how do i remove

was wondering how that garnish thing that sits either side of the rear number plate is fixed on, want to remove mine but cant see how its fixed..

 

any ideas.

If its the stuff next to the Aubergine Parmageana, or the Curried Parsnip, Its a real bitch. A three-pronged fork works for me.

There's a couple of screws where the number plate lights are and some 3M tape holding it on. Dead easy to take them off, getting rid of the sticky stuff left behind takes a bit of picking at to remove though.

see now i beg to differ dear boy, whilst a 3 pronged fork has its uses, it is only as effective as its user..

ta, i thought it was stuck on but didnt want to rip it off with out knowing..

I took mine off the other day too, there is jst two screws in to the top then pull the buggers off, but beware the the sticky pads are strong and the are a biatch to remove. I found the best way was a jet washer and some t cut. Make sure you dont damage thenm too because you can sell them on ebay for about £50.
