peter richards Posted May 15, 2007 Author Share Posted May 15, 2007 the bonnet was quite bad , but there were a lot of stone chips which had been touched up , so each pass was taking a bit from the touchup , so didnt go the full hog as they say , but pretty much machined it all procedure for anyone whos interested pre soak , snow foam wash with sonax gloss shampoo , 2 buckets , wash mitt dried with cobra guzzler wheels non acidic cleaner , megs spoke brush paintwork menzerna intensive polish , with porter cable polisher hand polish with duragloss wet look removed with cobra mfs duragloss sealant to finish tyres nielsens tyre shine glass autoglym glass cleaner Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What is the cobra guzzler/MFS? ....also do you mind letting me know what PC you use and rough cost? It looks very similar to a big tea towel, and when I opened the packaging I was a bit dubious - but I was amazed by it. It dries the car a million times faster than a chamois, it also didn't feel like it was stripping all the wax off and it was lovely and streak free.
