Red
As above really, I've taken off my side skirts as they were cracked and chipped at the front (just behind the front wheels) So I filled the cracks and did the normal; sand down/prime/sand/ and spray paint (halfords lucerne silver). I'm now wondering how to do the laquer layer, after i've lightly sanded the paint, should i just spray it over the same (masked off) area i've already sprayed, or shall I re-laquer the whole area around it too so I dont end up with a big ridge?!?!? Also, can you get stuff to blend the new paint area with the old?? Any advice appreciated!! Cheers, Red.
Piran
I think you're supposed to mask someway off (or at the nearest available sharp edge) and feather the edges to blend it in (for the paint and the lacquer), but I might be wrong
