tbourner
MY dad took the car back from dropping me off a few months ago - said that someone had pointed at the rear nearside wheel and said it was wobbling about!!! He got out and wiggled it etc but it seemed fine so he drove back. I assumed it was a joker taking the piss - drives fine no noticeable tyre wear yet (new tyres when I got the car though), but yesterday someone got my g/f to wind the window down and said the rear nearside wheel is buckled!! Only a little bit apparently but still should get it checked. So, spun into a kerb maybe? Most likely wheel bent or something more expensive?!!! Gordon F
Most likely a bent wheel. Mine had been kerbed before I got it and when I fitted new tyres the wheel looked very 'wobbly' on the balancer. It balanced up ok though and I never had any abnormal tyre wear (after I reset the tracking). I was never really happy knowing there was a bent wheel on the car and eventually bought a set of stock wheels.
