Steve W
ANOTHER of those "does anyone remember . . ." posts DOES ANYONE REMEMBER . . . a sci-fi series from late 70's/early80's (?) about a group of people (3-5 ?) who did the Sliders/Time Tunnel sort of thing. I can only remember it vaguely (BIG help !!) but seem to think they were on an Island {result of a crash or something} and they found a 'thing' a bit like a small Apollo re-entry vehicle (??) Each week they would end up in a different time/place (JUST like Sliders/Time Tunnel ??) I remember a BOY amongst the 3/5 people and can see his face (quite well known) but can't identify him I remember it being on ITV/CH4 ? on Saturday afternoon/ early evening ???? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? How vague is THAT then ??? Any takers ??? FatS

JustGav
Did they have a rover which had big wheels on it, I seem to remember a program damn similar but I can't recall what it was called either.
Steve W
No, Tommorow People was UK and kids. Sliders was similar but much later (late 80's/90's ??) This was much earlier / American ??
Steve W
Don't remember a Rover or vehicle ?? They zipped/zoomed to places (/times?) and can't remember HOW they zipped exactly ! ! How vague can i be ??? It's NEVER been reshown that i know of. (but then, it wasn't anything spectacular) Just bugging me, no-one at work remembers it, but they're mostly too young. Chewie
During my formative years it featured heavily in my Saturday early evening entertainment schedule. There was some other Yank called Jared who was this time traveller alien being who looked just like a typical Yank. I wouldn't want to punch his face in cos he would have been bigger than me but Ike was just asking for it.
AndrewOW
Bugger, you got there before me! Great series, almost like Lost in a way. That Ike Eisenmann was also in the series called Escape to Witch Mountain or something like that. That was good too!
