I have an emanage so stock ECU isnt a problem, and id have it mapped. What turbo though id want something that would just go straight on and not after huge power. I dont actually know all the bits I would need. As im thick I have a FMIC, decat, walbro, IK24 plugs. Usual bits.
gaz1
you can pick up a gt40/88 around £650, and run it low boost till funds allow for fueling;)
Whitesupraboy2
you guys arent helping. but i'd have to pay for fitting anyway. I'll find out how much they would charge to do it.

Class One
Slight hijack but why is it that when stock tubbies fail, it always seemsw to be no2, when no 1 does most of the work?
b_have
Thought it was almost always #1. (my hybrid #1 failed and #2 was mint)
Alex
Gt4088 is way to big for stock injectors. A T57-61 would be far more sensible. WSB2. Soop Dogg has some to sell, I think, BUT, they may have gone already...they are Ian C's old ones.

I have put this down to how no2 is spun up. with bpu it is almost slam started.

Whitesupraboy2
Is #2 definately fubared James? I managed to get car going for first time in days (battery problem at same time!) and by the amount of white smoke once it had been ticking over for a few mins. I think the turbo seal may of been damaged in the process. Once moving and used no1 again everything is clear and not much smoke. Im going to be quite shocked if it isnt number 2. Going to Triton on Saturday for them to have a gander, booked in for Monday. if No2 went on me, it was after a good stint on full boost and it went as I let off. Whitesupraboy2
less than hybrids! I will ask then, though really dont want to be spending much, though I think insurance will be saying no anyway.
Class One
I have put this down to how no2 is spun up. with bpu it is almost slam started. Is it? I thought it was prespooled as nothing is changed to the way the turbo operates from the stock system when you're BPU. The only difference is the amount of boost it produces.
