GeordieSteve
What happens when you delete it mate? You could always pull the comms cable and force it to fail?
Lucifer
1. Close outlook 2. If you cant CTRL:ALT:DEL - task manager : end outlook process. 3. Start: run : outlook.exe /safe 4. Delete anything in your outbox folder 5. close outlook.

CJ
I don't believe this. The bloody file is still stuck in my outbox and the whole thing is slowing the machine down considerably. I have tried to do what lucifer suggested but that doesn't open up in safe mode.
CJ
Well, now that I have shut down Outlook, the PC is running OK but when I try to restart Outlook it freezes up (the program that is) and I have to close via ctrl - alt - delete. Should I try and use my genuine disks to reinstall and repair Outlook?
